SACO — One of the most beloved community events will make its annual return next month in Saco and for many it’s a cherished tradition.
The 20th Annual Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner is scheduled to be held Nov. 22 at the Most Holy Trinity Church Hall, 271 Main St. in Saco. Meals will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Meals consist of all the fixings for a traditional turkey dinner, including dessert and beverages and dinners will also available for take-out.
All take-out orders must be placed in advance and will be delivered between noon and 1 p.m. Nov. 22.
Menus/order forms are available at the Good Shepherd Parish office at 271 Main St. in Saco, or by calling 282-3321. They must be returned by 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21.
As in years past, there is no charge for the dinner and all are welcome to attend.
The annual event is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and a caring community, with special thanks to the Good Shepherd Parish.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
