LIMINGTON – A Limington man arrested earlier this year for running a methamphetamine lab was arrested again on Friday night for possession of methamphetamine and other drugs.
Patrick Gomes, 40, was stopped by a sheriff’s deputy at 6:45 p.m. on Friday for a traffic violation, according to a press release from York County Sheriff William King Jr.
A search found Gomes in possession of suspected heroin and he was arrested, according to King.
Gomes was taken to the York County Jail in Alfred, where it was discovered that he had additional drugs, believed to be methamphetamine, tied to the inside of his pants, King said. Gomes was also charged with possession of scheduled drugs and trafficking in prison contraband.
Gomes is being held without bail, according to King. He is scheduled to be video arraigned on Monday.
Gomes had been arrested earlier this summer for maintaining a meth lab and had been released on bail, according to King.
