GRANITE POINT – Andre J. Boivin, 69, of Granite Point Road passed away Oct. 16, 2018 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.
He was born June 31, 1949 in Coaticook, Canada the son of Marcel and Rita Belleville Boivin.
Andre attended local schools and later graduated from High school in Jay, Maine. He received an Associates degree from Bryant and Stratton College in Boston and a Master from Southern New Hampshire University. Andre was employed for many years with Data General and then with UNUM.
He enjoyed watching football, playing card games on the computer and playing cribbage.
Survivors include his wife Linda Rumery Boivin of Granite Point, a son Christopher Boivin of Saco and a granddaughter Sophia.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at Laurel Hill Cemetery for Andre and Nancy Rumery.
Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home and Cremation are entrusted with his arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Biddeford Fire Department 152 Alfred Street, Biddeford Maine 04005
