There is an unprecedented sense of entitlement among younger generations. Condescension toward minimum-wage jobs and the devaluation of frugality are widely held convictions. Sarah Sandlin works while still finding time to be her mother’s primary caretaker. She is out every day until sundown, actively listening to her community members’ concerns. One’s fitness for public office is inseparable from the choices they make in their personal life. Sarah Sandlin has integrity and holds herself accountable for her actions. She has the strength of character we so badly need more of in Augusta. Given the fact that Maine has the highest median age of all the states, her focus on encouraging younger women and men to stay and work in Maine, along with being sure to take care of our older citizens, makes her an outstanding candidate. On Nov. 6, I hope you will join me in electing Republican Sarah Sandlin in House District 44.
