BIDDEFORD — Scott V. Prue Sr., age 52, of Biddeford, passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 8,2018 with is family by his side at Gosnell memorial Hospice House in Scarborough following a short battle against cancer.

Scott was born Aug. 10, 1966 in Portland, a son of Paul Prue and Lorraine (Perreault) Palmer.  He was educated in the Cape Elizabeth school system, where he graduated high school with honors.

Scott was a dedicated employee of Richardson Allen Furniture for over 22 years and enjoyed the simple things in life. He liked playing fantasy football, watching the TV show Forged in Fire, and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his wife Dorcas (Doane) Prue; sons Scott V. Prue Jr. and his wife Stephanie of Waterboro and Michael Prue of Biddeford; parents Paul Prue of Mesa, Arizona and               Lorraine (Perreault) Palmer of Waterboro; sister Brenda Prue and partner Mitchel Huard of Standish; brother Brian Prue and his wife Elaine of Grafton, Massachusetts; grandchildren Westin and Coltin Prue; several nieces and nephews, along with a large extended family.

Visiting Hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Scott’s name to Gosnell Memorial Hospice House at 11 Hunnewell Road, Scarborough, ME 04074, the American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123, or the Biddeford Food Pantry at 162 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005.
