FALMOUTH — The Thornton Academy boys soccer team was shutout 3-0 during a game against Falmouth on Thursday night.
Gus Ford performed a hat trick to create the final 3-0 score.
Ford knocked in a cross from Joe Dye for the first goal. Nik Hester assisted the second goal. Ford’s last goal was a header off a Kyle Bouchard corner kick.
Thornton goalie Travis Snyder made 14 saves. Falmouth goalies Alvaro Fuentes-Cantillana and Jackson Quinn made a combined three saves in the win.
Greely 8, Wells 2
The Wells soccer team suffered an 8-2 defeat at the hands of the Rangers on Thursday night.
Chris Williams and Ethan Fraser scored two goals apiece to capture the lead for the Rangers.
The Rangers also received goals from Evan Wyman, Pietro Ambrosini, Lucas Goettel and Jonathan Piesik.
Ryan Harriman scored both goals for the Warriors.
Wells will travel to Triap Academy on Saturday.
