COLUMBUS, Ind. —  Mona Y. Fecteau, 76, of Columbus, Indiana, passed from this life at 7:23 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Hope, Indiana.

Mrs. Fecteau was born Aug. 24, 1942, in Biddeford, Maine, the daughter of George and Rachel LeClerc Vertefeuille. On June 23, 1980, she married Jerry J. Fecteau, he survives.

A homemaker, Mrs. Fecteau was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Columbus. She dearly loved her family and she enjoyed crocheting, working crossword puzzles and traveling.

Mrs. Fecteau is survived by her husband, Jerry; her children, Charlene (Roger) Ruel of Biddeford, Maine, Diane (John) Cole of Columbus, Indiana and Allison (Timothy) Fecteau of Springvale, Maine; her stepchildren, Paul (Heather) Fecteau of Cortland, New York, Timothy (Allison) Fecteau of Springvale, Maine and Patricia of Marathon, New York; her brothers, Ray (Patricia) Vertefeuille of Maine and Roland Vertefeuille of Maine; seven grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Fecteau was preceded in death by her parents, George and Rachel Vertefeuille.

Inurnment took place in the Southern Maine Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Springvale, Maine.
