State Sen. Rebecca Millett, D-South Portland, has been an outstanding senator for  District 29 (South Portland, Cape Elizabeth, and part of Scarborough). She has worked tirelessly since 2012 to protect and improve our way of life on education, the environment, renewable energy, growing the economy, and creating good-paying jobs. She was named Legislator of the Year by the Maine Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics for her work on childhood health and safety. As a volunteer on her campaign, I have watched her meet with her constituents on all sides of the political spectrum, listening with care and explaining complicated issues and how they relate to our lives. She is just as effective in the Legislature. She has a great sense of humor, lots of common sense, and a real passion to serve. I urge you to vote for Rebecca on Nov. 6.
