FREEPORT — Freeport and Cumberland are among municipalities recognized by the Maine Municipal Association for producing Maine’s highest-quality annual reports.
The MMA’s Annual Report Competition, which has been held for more than 50 years, recognizes municipalities for producing well-organized and visually appealing reports with excellent content for their residents. More than 240 municipalities entered reports this year.
MMA judges rate the reports in five population categories. Freeport’s report was deemed best in the 5,000-and-over population category, followed by Waterville and Cumberland.
