SOUTH PARIS — The Mt. Ararat and Oxford Hills high school jayvee field hockey teams battled against the rain and the darkness on Monday.
After playing 30 minutes in the first half, the teams only played five more minutes in the second half before the game was called.
Mt. Ararat’s Nicole Thiboutot scored the game’s only goal, with a first-half score that held until the end.
Bailey Rioux tended the goal for Mt. Ararat in the victory.
