BIDDEFORD — The Thornton Academy golf squad cruised to an 11-2 victory over Windham at Biddeford-Saco Country Club on Thursday.
Manuel Barbachano shot a low-medalist round of 34 on the par-35 front nine to lead the Trojans.
Armand Ouellette (36), Jack Burton (42), Nick Burton (43) and Tyler Snell (44) also won matches for TA, which won the team point by a 199-225 count.
Windham’s lone win came from Bryce Afthim, who shot a 45 to take down TA’s Zach Pouliot (47).
Thornton Academy will host Greely on Tuesday.
Noble 11, Biddeford 2
The Knights remained undefeated as they dominated Biddeford on Thursday.
Geof Howe, Matt Nolder, Cheyann Couture, Kyle Franey and Gunner Tache all earned wins for Noble.
Brian Perreault earned the only win for the Tigers.
Boys Soccer
Massabesic 2, Marshwood 2 (2OT)
Ryan Hersey and Dilan McEneaney scored goals for Massabesic, but it wasn’t enough to get the win as Marshwood rallied late to tie.
Mike LeSelva scored with just 6:20 left to even the match for Marshwood, which also got a score from Henry Honkonen.
Massabesic’s Caleb Smalley made seven stops in goal on Thursday.
Scarborough 2, Thornton Academy 0
The Golden Trojans were held scoreless as the visiting Red Storm improved to 3-0 on Thursday.
Anthony Clavette and Elliot Dumais scored for Scarborough. Noah Drapeau and Dan Travers had assists in the victory.
Thornton Academy goalie Travis Snyder made five saves in the loss.
