WELLS — The following people were arrested or charged by Wells Police Aug. 8 to 12. If there is no listing for a specific date, it means no one was arrested or charged on that day, according to police logs provided by the agency:

• Nicholas Staples, 21, of Wells, Maine, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief following a disturbance complaint on Bald Hill Road at 11:43 p.m. Aug. 8. He was bailed from Wells Police Department.

• Karl Huntley III, 31, of Sanford, was issued a summons charging he drove while his license was suspended or revoked following a traffic stop on Sanford Road at 10:49 p.m. on Aug. 9. The following day, on Aug. 10 at 11:49 a.m., Huntley was arrested on Sanford Road for allegedly again driving while his license was suspended or revoked. He was was unable to post bail and taken to York County Jail.

• Timothy Miles, 37, of Wells was issued a summons charging he attached false license plates following a traffic stop on Tatnic Road at 2:02 p.m. Aug. 10.

• Frederick Connelly, 64, of Springfield, Missouri, was arrested fand charged with operating under the influence following a traffic stop on Eldridge Road at 9:10 p.m. Aug. 10. He posted bail and was released from Wells Police Department.

• Roger Sibley, 57, of Wells was issued a summons charging criminal trespass by motor vehicle Trespass following a suspicious activity complaint on Coles Hill Road at 2:44 a.m. Aug. 11.

• Charles Flayhan Jr., 59, of Waccabuc, New York, was issues a summons charging he drove without a license following a traffic stop on Sanford Road at 10:08 p.m. Aug. 11.

• Joseph Tipping, 65, of Wells was arrested and charged with operating under the influence following a traffic stop on Sanford Road at 12:13 a.m. Aug. 12. He posted bail and was released form Wells Police Department.
