BIDDEFORD — Catherine Elaine Boisvert, 62, died on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born on Feb. 17, 1956 to Richard and Carlene (Provencal) Couture in Sanford. She graduated from Sanford High School in 1974.
After graduating high school, she worked at the Pepperell Mill in Biddeford. She was a kind woman who always put others before herself. She was an avid reader, enjoyed puzzles and always loved to shop around for a great deal as well as going to yard sales with her mother on the weekends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Couture.
Catherine is survived by her partner of many years, Robert Ayotte of Biddeford; two daughters, Iris Ayotte of Portland and Amber Ayotte of Biddeford; and her mother, Carlene Couture of Sanford.
Visiting Hours will 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005.
Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel. Memorial donations in memory of Catherine may be made to Animal Welfare Society – 46 Holland Road, Kennebunk, ME.
