WISCASSET — There are three chances to let others do the cooking while supporting the Help Yourself Shelf food pantry, the Feed Our Scholars backpack program, as well as the Bargain Basement which helps outfit those who have suffered catastrophic events for no charge.

St. Philip’s Church kicks off its summer series of three suppers on Monday, taking place from 5: 30- 7 p.m.

The supper menu includes baked beans, hot dogs, casseroles, salads, breads, beverage and dessert. The charge for the meal is by donation.

All funds go to the support of the church and its outreach missions.

To make a reservation — which is not necessary but would help in the planning — or to obtain further information, call (207) 882- 7184. Leave a name and a return phone number for verification.

The next supper in the series will be Monday, July 30, with a fare of beans and casseroles will be on the menu. The third supper, on Aug. 13, will end the series with St. Philip’s haddock chowder.

Before or after attending the dinner, check out the Bargain Basement which will be open during the supper events.

St. Philip’s is located at 12 Hodge St. in Wiscasset.
