CROSS LAKE TOWNSHIP — Maine State Police say a Fort Kent man has died in a single vehicle crash in Cross Lake Township.
Police say 38-year-old Mark Paradis was killed Saturday when his pickup truck went off the road and hit some trees. He was not wearing a seat belt. Police say it appears that Paradis likely had fallen asleep.
An investigation is continuing.
The crash caused some trees to fall on power lines, causing a brief power outage in the area.
