The Chocolate Church Arts Center announces open auditions for “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” — music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Tim Rice and by arrangement with The Musical Company — at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 7, and 1 p.m. Sunday, July 8.
Auditions will be conducted on the CCAC main stage located at 804 Washington Street, Bath.
The cast will include adults and teens, and children grades 3 through 8. Actors should be prepared with at least one song from the show or a song of choice. Please come to auditions prepared to list any conflict dates you have for rehearsals.
With familiar themes and catchy music, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” directed by Thom Watson will be staged the weekends of Sept. 7-9 and 14-16. The production leadership team also includes Teresa Henderson of Gardiner as the music director, choreography by Ashley Steeves of Rockland and the rock band will be led by Mark McNeil of West Bath.
