SANFORD – Police here are asking the public to be on the lookout for Paul Lasante, 76, who went missing from his home on Post Road, off Route 4, about 5 p.m. Saturday. In a statement, police said Lasante suffers from dementia and may not be aware of his surroundings.
He was last seen walking on route 4 in Alfred, headed toward Waterboro, in the vicinity of York County Jail at approximately 5:14 p.m. today.
He was wearing a ball cap, blue sweat shirt, tan pants and brown boots.
Police said Lasante had previously lived in Parsonsfield.
Anyone who observed Lasante during this time frame or knows of his current location is urged to contact Sanford Police Officer Christopher Brown at 324-9170.
