CONCORD, N.H. — Gas prices have done down a bit in northern New England.
GasBuddy’s daily survey of gas outlets in Maine found that average retail gasoline prices in the state have gone down 4.3 cents per gallon in the past week, to an average of $2.89 per gallon. Prices in New Hampshire have decreased 2.5 cents per gallon to an average of $2.87. In Vermont, prices have gone down 1.3 cents per gallon to an average price of $2.93.
The national average is $2.91 per gallon. It’s increased nearly 4.8 cents per gallon in the last month and stands 58.5 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
