TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat High School jayvee baseball team finished its season with a 9-4 win over Richmond recently.
James Singleton led the 12-hit attack, going 3-for-3. Holden Brennan chipped in with two singles, with Koby Clark adding a double. Willy Kavanaugh, Connor Smith, Trey Booty, Dan Pratt, Ian Brady and Trevor Brown each singled in the win.
For Richmond, Benjamin Gardner and Kyle Tilton had a pair of singles apiece, while Dustin Simmons, Noah Sporta, Dan Stewart and Dakota Gilpatric each chipped in with singles.
Booty, Clark and Eli Ouellette combined for six strikeouts, four walks and one hit batsman. Tilton and Justin Vachon combined for two strikeouts and two walks.
Mt. Ararat finished the season at 15-1.
