SPRINGVALE — Adam Cote cast a ballot at Nasson Community Center in Springvale on Tuesday morning surrounded by his family.

Cote is one of seven Democratic candidates and four Republicans vying for his party’s nomination for Governor of Maine in today’s primary contest.

The winners will hit the campaign trail  that culminates in the November election.
