BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Junior High School eighth-grade baseball team rolled to an 11-1 victory over Lewiston recently.
The Huskies scored in every inning. Mason Richardson kept a hot bat with two hits and an RBI. Also collecting big hits, Cal Wilby (RBI single in the sixth), Weston Cooper and Declan Layrac each with RBI doubles, and Sam Masse with a run-scoring single in the fifth, finishing with three RBIs on the day.
Masse, Layrac and Kevin Connolly stymied the Devils offense, allowing five hits and striking out five in the win. Cooper and Kalob Thompson played well on the defensive side.
The Huskies are now 4-2 on the season
