TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School eighth-grade baseball team came from behind for a 10-9 victory over Lewiston recently.
The game was a battle, with both teams making solid offensive and defensive plays throughout.
Ryan Robertson, Spencer LeClair and Cody Bowker took the mound for the Eagles. Ty Henke, John Kinney and Kyler Brannan made the key defensive plays to end some big innings.
The bats were hot for Carson Taylor, Jay Kearney and Kaiden Tome, but it was LeClair’s walk-off RBI shot to the outfield that scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning.
