SACO — Judith E. Cote, 73, of Saco died Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at her home following a long illness.
She was born Jan. 26, 1945 in Biddeford, a daughter of Francis and Celeste Monroe and was raised and educated in Saco, graduating from Thornton Academy.
On June 13, 1964 she married Paul E. Cote at Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco.
For over 45 years she worked as a medical secretary at the Webber Hospital and Southern Maine Medical Center.
She enjoyed doing hand crafts and had at one time operated a craft shop. Judy was a friend of Bill W.
Judith was preceded in death by her husband Paul on Dec. 27, 2008 and was also predeceased by two brothers: Robert and Raymond Monroe and a sister Patricia Davis.
Surviving are two sons, Marc Cote and his wife Trina of North Waterboro and Michael Cote and his wife Lynn of Arundel; two brothers, Richard Monroe, formerly of Vermont, and Gary Monroe of Florida; a sister Betty Hussey of Biddeford; five granddaughters; three grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. Private burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
