Androscoggin Bank recently announced the addition of several new employees to its team, along with numerous promotions.

New hires

 Mary Miller joins the bank as director of mortgage lending, and will be based out of the bank’s Lewiston operations center. In this role, Miller will oversee each step of the mortgage process from sales to underwriting and processing. Miller joins Androscoggin with nearly 25 years of banking and management experience.

 Gregory Dauphinee joins the team in Portland as vice president, senior mortgage loan officer.

 Amy Torrey is based out of the bank’s Scarborough location and joins as assistant vice president, mortgage loan officer.

 Maureen Van Uden joins the commercial lending team as senior vice president, lead commercial loan officer. She will supervise the commercial lenders in Portland and Brunswick. She most recently worked at TD Bank for more than 20 years and was a senior relationship manager in their commercial lending area.

 Alicia Miller joins the bank as vice president, director of client relationships and marketing, based in the Lewiston operations center. Miller comes to the bank with more than 20 years of experience in marketing, product development, and client relationship management.

Promoted

 Scott Sarapas has been promoted to vice president, mortgage market leader. In this role, Sarapas will supervise Androscoggin Bank’s team of mortgage loan officers.

 Rob Westhoven has been promoted to the newly created position of lead commercial loan officer for the Lewiston/Auburn market. In this position, Westhoven will assume direct supervisory responsibilities for Androscoggin Bank’s team of commercial lenders in the market, ensuring they have easy access to the guidance and support they need to reach their goals and future career objectives.

 Zach Ovington has been promoted to commercial loan officer and is servicing a portfolio with direct lending responsibilities.

 Denise Tabet has been promoted to the position of retail service manager. In this position, Tabet will oversee branch standards and service, engage in strategic planning and initiative implementation, and provide direct management and leadership to the bank’s regional client service representatives.

 Torri Jones has been promoted to retail operations manager. Jones has been with Androscoggin Bank for 18 years, starting as a teller and working her way through various management roles in the Brunswick region.

Bank holds annual meeting

Board chairman Pasquale Maiorino welcomed the board of directors, corporators, officers, employees and others to the 148th annual meeting of Androscoggin Bancorp held last month at the Woodlands Club in Falmouth.

Paul Andersen, bank president and CEO, reported that at the end of 2017 Androscoggin Bank had posted the following: Total assets increased by more than $53,400,000 and ended the year at $955,637,729.

In the annual report overview, Andersen said, “2017 was a pivotal year for Androscoggin Bank as we broke with the past in so many ways to secure our future. Leading through change is not always easy, but it has been absolutely worth it.”
