BRUNSWICK

Parking won’t be an issue for people coming out to Maine State Music Theatre shows this season.

A complimentary free shuttle will be available for all 24 performances of each main stage show during the 60th anniversary season, carrying passengers from Bowdoin College to the Pickard Theater.

“Difficulty finding parking is one of the of top concerns we hear from our patrons each season,” said MSMT Artistic Director Curt Dale Clark in a prepared statement. “Offering the shuttle for each and every performance this year goes a long way toward making live theater more accessible for theatre-goers.”

The shuttle has been operating for the past two MSMT seasons, but was only available for weekday matinee performances. Support from Richards and AAA Energy Services made it possible for the shuttle to run for all main stage shows, as well as three Monday Performance Series productions. The shuttle will not be available for Theatre for Young Audiences performances.

The shuttle will pick up passengers at the front entrance of Bowdoin College’s Watson Ice Arena located at 27 Watson Dr. on the Bowdoin campus, and drop them off at Park Row in front of the Pickard Theater. It will make continuous trips from 12:45-1:15 p.m. and 6:45-7:15 p.m.

Patrons may park in any available space at the Watson Arena Complex.
