WISCASSET
Feed Our Scholars is hosting a party tonight and everyone’s invited.
For a fee of $25, attendees of all ages and abilities will paint a lovely, springy lupine picture under the leadership of artist Sue Begin of Cre8tive Events of Augusta. No need to feel one cannot paint a picture; Begin helps all to feel good about their experience.
To add to that experience and to bolster one’s energy flow, there will be a dessert table replete with many homemade treats, including gluten free and vegan offerings. Nonalcoholic beverages round out the refreshments.
The event will take place from 6-8:30 p.m. today at St. Philip’s Church, located at 12 Hodge St. in Wiscasset.
To make reservations, call Sharman Ballentine at (207) 687-8258 or email her at pakngo@comcast.net, or contact St. Philip’s Church at (207) 882-7184, leaving a name, number of attendees and a return phone number.
Comments are not available on this story. Read more about why we allow commenting on some stories and not on others.
We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
