TOPSHAM — Mt. Ararat scored four runs in the sixth inning to rally for a 7-6 victory over Morse in jayvee baseball action on Monday.
James Singleton singled and doubled, and JD Dionne and Ian Brady chipped in with a single each.
Mason Brigham, Cody Holman and Trey Booty combined for three walks and four strikeouts.
For Morse, Brogan Shaw and Bodeen Gould had two singles each, and Jarrod Patterson, Ty Knowlton and Gavin Phillip singled. Patterson and Shaw combined for eight walks and one strikeout.
Shaw was also a standout at shortstop and on the mound for Morse, with Holden Brennan of Mt. Ararat making the defensive play of the game as he made a diving catch in center field with two outs and a man on second for Morse.
