BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Junior High School eighth-grade softball team outscored Oxford Hills, 10-6 on Monday.
Mia Klimash got the Husky bats going with a double, followed by a Logan Brown RBI single. A hit by Riley McAllaster sent Brown home to get the Huskies on the scoreboard, 2-0.
McAllaster later doubled to drive home three more runs.
The hits kept coming with singles by Mia DeSantis, Abby Sharpe and Morgan Foster, and a two-run by Sarah Johnson.
Foster and Brown shared pitching duties, pairing for five strikeouts with only four hits allowed.
