SOUTH PARIS — The Brunswick Junior High School eighth-grade baseball team fell to Oxford Hills, 11-10, on Monday.
Kevin Connolly led the Huskies with an RBI double and a pair of singles in the loss. Weston Cooper, Sam Masse, Wilder Burns (two-run double), and Deklan Lay all had two hits.
Masse, Cooper and Dolan Pohls (three innings of solid relief) took care of the mound work, giving up 11 hits, five walks and eight strikeouts.
Brunswick is 0-1, while the Vikings improved to 4-0.
