The Portland Sea Dogs postponed their game Sunday at Hadlock Field against the Binghamton Mets because of inclement weather.

The game was rescheduled as part of a single-admission doubleheader on May 10, starting at 5 p.m.

AUTO RACING

NASCAR: Kyle Larson will have to wait another day to try to capture his first Cup Series victory of the season.

The race at Bristol Motor Speedway was postponed until Monday because of heavy rain, with Larson in front after 204 laps.

Action is scheduled to resume at 1 p.m. Monday. NASCAR hopes to complete all remaining 296 laps, although the forecast calls for more rain and possibly snow.

INDYCAR: Alexander Rossi pulled away after a late restart to win the Grand Prix of Long Beach, completing a dominant weekend by holding off Will Power for his third career IndyCar victory.

Rossi led 71 of 85 laps in his Andretti Autosport Honda and took charge on the restart with nine laps to go, pulling away from Power and moving into the points lead after three races.

Ed Jones finished third, and Zach Veach was a career-best fourth. Graham Rahal was fifth despite an opening-lap collision with Sebastien Pagenaud.

FORMULA ONE: Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull won the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai to claim the sixth victory of his career.

Ricciardo, of Australia, started from the third row but took advantage when the safety car came out on the 31st lap, allowing him to get fresh tires. He grabbed the lead on the 45th lap, overtaking Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes.

Bottas finished second and Kimi Raikkonen of Ferrari was third. Sebastian Vettel, who won the first two races of the season, fell back to eighth after starting on the pole.

MIXED MARTIAL ARTS

UFC: Tim Boetsch of Lincolnville was defeated by first-round submission in a middleweight bout Saturday night against Brazil’s Antonio Carlos Junior in Glendale, Arizona.

Carlos Junior, 28, ended the fight with a rear-naked choke at 4:28. The Brazilian improved his record to 10-2, while Boetsch, 37, fell to 21-12.

PREMIER LEAGUE: Manchester United gifted the Premier League title to fierce rival Manchester City in improbable fashion by losing 1-0 to last-place West Bromwich Albion.

A week after preventing its neighbors from clinching the title by rallying from 2-0 down to win 3-2, United delivered a similarly unlikely result as managerless West Brom pulled off one of the shocks of the season.

Jay Rodriguez headed in a 73rd-minute winning goal to seal only a second win since August and allow City to clinch the title without kicking a ball.

FRENCH LEAGUE: Paris Saint-Germain clinched the title by beating defending champion Monaco 7-1, with the crushing victory highlighting the obvious gulf between the top two teams this season.

Midfielder Giovani Lo Celso and winger Angel Di Maria each scored twice, and league top scorer Edinson Cavani got his 25th of the season.

TENNIS

U.S. MEN’S CLAY COURT: Steve Johnson shrugged off numerous missed opportunities to beat first-time ATP Tour finalist Tennys Sandgren 7-6 (2), 2-6, 6-4 in Houston and become the tournament’s first back-to-back champion in 16 years.

No player had repeated in the only men’s clay-court tournament in the U.S. since Andy Roddick in 2001-02.

GRAND PRIX HASSAN II: Pablo Andujar of Spain swept aside second-seeded Kyle Edmund 6-2, 6-2 to win the tournament in Marrakesh, Morocco, for the third time.

Andujar won on his second match point for his fourth ATP Tour title.
