NEW LONDON, Conn. — The Bates College women’s lacrosse team scored five of the final six goals to defeat host Connecticut College, 10- 7, Saturday, giving the Bobcats their second NESCAC win of the season.
The host Camels (3-8, 0-7 NESCAC) led for more than 45 minutes of action. Bates came back from 2-0 and 4-2 deficits to tie the game, then overcame a 6-5 deficit with the game-ending 5-1 run.
Former Morse High School standout scored off a free position with 28:08 remaining in the half to draw the Bobcats to 4-2.
Bates returns to action April 17 at Tufts.
