BANGOR — The UMaine- Farmington baseball team split a Saturday doubleheader with Husson, winning 8-5 in the opener and dropping a 5-1 decision in the nightcap.
Former Mt. Ararat High School standout Kevin Carter led the Beavers in the opener, launching a go-ahead home run in the top of the seventh.
Carter finished the game with five RBIs and was 2-for- 3.
In the second game, Carter had a single.
