BANGOR — Junior Aliza Jordan scored a career-high eight points as the University of Southern Maine women’s lacrosse team scored a season-high 18 goals to take an 18-5 victory over Husson University in non-conference action Monday afternoon at Boucher Field.
The win was the third in the last four games for the Huskies and improved their overall record to 4-3.
The Eagles dropped their second straight game to fall to 2-4.
Husson’s Maddy Olson of Phippsburg and Morse High School had a solid day, earning seven draw controls in the loss.
Also for Husson, KK Fifield of Morse scored, cutting USM’s lead to 8-4 before the Huskies rattled off 10 straight goals.
Husson will travel to Maine Maritime Academy on Wednesday (4 p.m.) for a North Atlantic Conference match.
