BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Downtown Association and Maine State Music Theatre is co-hosting “Diva Night!” again this year. The 5th annual event will take place on Friday from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Maine State Music Theatre, 22 Elm Street in Brunswick. Groups of women are encouraged to gather at the event.
“This year we are encouraging ladies to pull out their little black dress or special outfit and get glammed up for the night,” said BDA Executive Director Debora King. “Prepare to walk the Red Carpet, enjoy great food and champagne, see the latest local fashions, learn some new dance steps and so much more.”
Advance tickets can be purchased online for $35 and include a tiara. Those wearing special outfits or black dress receive a free glass champagne. Buy tickets at: brunswickdowntown.org/events/diva-night. If space is available, tickets can be purchased at the door for $40. This is a 21 and over event.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
