WELLS — As winter continues to drag on, children can find plenty of activities to work on indoors at the Wells Public Library.

Here’s a rundown of upcoming events for children and teens:

Alphabet Party

Thursday, March 22 at 6 p.m.

P is for Party, R is for Read. Coming to the library is just what you need! Have fun with alphabet activities, fill out an alphabet hunt, and look for words you see, read, feel, and even eat! Lego and Rubik’s Cube Club

Friday, March 23 at 3 p.m.

Let the brain games begin! Participants are invited to build master creations with Legos provided by the library. We will also have Rubik’s cubes on hand with instructions on how to solve the Cube. All ages welcome. These free events are sponsored by the Friends of the Wells Public Library. Mother Goose Storytime

Monday, March 26 at 10:30 a.m.

Join us for Mother Goose Mondays! Children ages 0-24 months and their caregivers are invited to engage in lap activities, rhymes, songs, and fingerplays. Toddler Storytime

Tuesday, March 27 at 1:30 p.m.

Wednesday, March 28 at 10:30 a.m.

Ages 2-5 years old and their caregivers are invited to meet us on Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday mornings for stories, songs, and movement, all followed by a craft.  These free events are sponsored by the Friends of the Wells Public Library. Teen Craft: Record Bowls

Stop by the library to try out a new craft! This month we will show you how to make bowls out of old records – just a few minutes in the oven can turn an old vinyl into a retro bowl to paint and decorate. Teen Craft: Ninjas!
