Joseph French

A Limerick man was arrested and charged with domestic violence terrorizing and violating his conditions of release at a residence there Friday.

Joseph French, 54, was arrested at 5:40 p.m. at a home on Division Road in Limerick where sheriff’s deputies had been called for a disturbance, York County Sheriff William King said in a statement Saturday.

King said French’s wife reported that French was threatening to hurt her and was intoxicated, which violated his conditions of release for a previous domestic incident.

French is being held without bail at York County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in Springvale District Court on Monday .
