KENNEBUNK — The next public meeting of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers will be held at the Brick Store Museum’s Program Center at 2 p.m. Saturday March 17 at 4 Dane St. in Kennebunk.
The program’s speaker, David Hunt, will discuss current intelligence issues under the title “Intelligence in Flux, from the Cold War to the Present.”
Hunt has served 32 years in the CIA including tours in Italy, Vietnam, Somalia, Norway, France, and New York City.
He is a Colby College graduate and an expert in Soviet operations, European affairs and counterintelligence and was honored with the Donovan Award for Excellence, as well as the CIA’s Distinguished Intelligence Medal, its highest award.
This is the latest in a series of discussions relating to the importance of intelligence in current public affairs.
This AFIO meeting is open to the public and a question period will follow.
