KENNEBUNK — Even though Pi Day, March 14, is meant to celebrate mathematicians and the mathematical constant π (Pi), the Kennebunk Free Library Celebrates it with the wonders of pies.
Between 12:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on March 14, there will be a bake sale at the Kennebunk Free Library to celebrate learning and both kinds of pie (pi).
Proceeds will go to help the library spread knowledge.
Donations are appreciated, be it monetary or in baked goods.
If goods are donated please have a list of ingredients with the goods.
Contributors are asked to please bring your pies the morning of the sale to the staff entrance.
Support from the community helps KFL achieve their mission to serve the diverse cultural, informational, educational and recreational needs of the community.
Each year, they must raise about 25% of our operating budget through fundraisers such as this.
