GRAY — Freeport led 10-8 after one quarter, but Gray- New Gloucester dominated the rest of the way, pulling away for a 48-16 win in high school jayvee girls basketball action recently.
Hannah Spaulding knocked down three 3-pointers and finished with 11 points for the Falcons. Teammates Maggie Riendeau and Abby Brier were solid contributors in the loss.
Trips to the charity stripe were minimal, as Gray-New Gloucester converted 1-of-5 and Freeport was 1-of-2.
Sarah Fortin had a game high 24 points, and Ali Sernyk had 10 for Gray-New Gloucester.
