BATH — The Bath Middle School girls seventh-grade basketball team drove its record to 4-4 in recent action with a win and a loss.
The Destroyers hosted Poland and used a solid fourth quarter of offense to pull away for a 39-24 win.
Several Destroyers chipped in points in the win, including Lanye Brewer’s 17 points, Danielle Bryant’s six, Kadance Burden’s five. Libbi Wallace and Sophie Barber added four points apiece.
The Destroyer Award was given to Bryant for her strong floor game.
Gray-New Gloucester downed Morse, 35-17 in other action. Bryant paced the offense with 12 points while Burden added four. The Destroyer Award was given to Sadie McNish for her strong defense.
