SCARBOROUGH — A Wednesday night Town Council workshop and meeting were postponed to 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 8, because of weather. 

The council was expected to vote on a Pine Point beach access agreement brokered after two years of discussion with abutting property owners.

The town and owners of Avenue 2 reached a preliminary agreement that preserves public access to the beach. Under the agreement, the town will relinquish its rights to the property.
