FOXBORO, Mass. — The Stonehill College men’s ice hockey team defeated Assumption College, 4-1, Saturday night at Foxboro Sports Center, after a tough loss on Friday night against the Greyhounds in Northeast 10 Conference play.
Brunswick’s Kyle Woodruff and Christopher Page each registered a goal apiece for Stonehill (6-14-2, 4- 7-1 NE10). The Skyhawks saw Jack Hall tally two goals for his fifth-career multipoint game, and Zachary Frament and Ryan Smith recorded two assists each for their second-career multipoint games.
Junior goaltender Billy Palmer recorded 40 saves in the victory, for his sixth game this year with 40-plus saves.
