NAPLES — Freeport outscored the Lakers 16-2 in the second quarter en route to a 38-29 victory over Lake Region Friday night.
Rachel Wall led the way with a game-high 15 points, while freshman Hannah Groves added seven.
The Falcons also received solid play from Annika Thomas and Hannah Spaulding, with each player netting five points apiece. The Falcons were 6-for-18 from the line, while the Lakers were only 2-for-12.
Lake Region was led by Meghan Weese with nine points.
