The Topsham Republican Committee has announced that Topsham Republicans will caucus at 7 p.m. Friday in the Municipal Meeting Room in Topsham Town Hall, located at 100 Main St.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. to meet candidates and, for those wishing to join the Republican Party, to register.
The purpose of the caucus is to elect delegates and alternates to the state convention, elect members to the Sagadahoc County committee, ratify committee by-laws and discuss the draft of the GOP platform. All Topsham Republicans and those who wish to join the party are encouraged to attend.
The state convention will take place May 4-5 at the Augusta Civic Center.
