The body of a young woman was discovered Saturday morning in a snowbank in Orono, WCSH-TV reported.
A passer-by found the body while walking along Colburn Drive, according to police.
Police on Saturday night identified the woman as Alexie Adams, 19. Her hometown was not immediately available.
Officials said alcohol is believed to have been a factor in her death, the Portland TV station reported.
Maine State Police have been asked to help investigate. Foul play is not currently suspected, an Orono Police Department official said.
