He loves getting attention from his people and strangers as well. He has lived with dogs in the past, but he prefers the company of smaller dogs. At only 3 1/2 years old, he’s a very energetic dog and would enjoy going for regular walks with his people.
He’s a smart fellow and knows sit, shake, down, and roll over. He would love to learn more.
Adopters get a discount to take canine training classes at Animal Welfare Society of West Kennebunk and Wolfgang is hoping his new people will enroll him. He’d be a star student.
In fact, speaking of being a star student, Wolfgang has enjoyed hanging out after school with our Humane Action League students. He loves learning alongside the students.
Isn’t it time this gentle giant found a home of his own?

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
