OGUNQUIT— An alert Maine state trooper stopped a vehicle headed north on the Maine Turnpike in York County on Jan. 20 for an outdated inspection sticker and it resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of illegal drugs.

According to Maine State Police, Trooper Matt Williams, a member of Troop G, stopped a Honda sedan northbound on the turnpike just south of Ogunquit.
