BRUNSWICK — There is a new youth wrestling program in Brunswick.
The program is coached by volunteers Jeffrey Dolley and Rich Giustra.
Coach Dolley sees potential for this sport in the town of Brunswick.
“Wrestling did a lot for me when I was in school, and I believe it can do a lot for Brunswick kids.” said Dolley.
The coaches plan to attend weekly tournaments throughout the state with the wrestlers.
“Every kid will get plenty of mat time, and can wrestle in all the tournaments” Dolley said.
The program is for all children in grades 1-8, regardless of experience.
The program will run on Tuesday and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., beginning tonight.
Parents can sign up their child by calling the Brunswick Rec. Department at 725-6656 or at the Brunswick Rec site, http://www.brunswickme.org.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
