The Sheepscot Valley Chorus and St. Cecilia Chamber Choir will begin rehearsals for a spring presentation of Handel’s “Israel in Egypt” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan.16, at the First Congregational Church Wiscasset UCC, located at 28 High St. in Wiscasset.
The two groups will present “Israel in Egypt,” in a pair of shows May 5-6, accompanied by a professional orchestra.
Sheepscot Valley Chorus will begin rehearsing this work All are encouraged to attend this first rehearsal and to sing sections of “Israel in Egypt,” under the inspired leadership of artistic director Linda Blanchard and accompanist Sean Fleming. Snacks will be provided.
