KENNEBUNK — Perler Beads are tiny plastic beads that can melt and were first introduced as a craft in Sweden in the 1950s and are still loved today.

Students ages 6 and up are invited to join the Kennebunk Free Library for an afternoon of beading fun at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10. Design suggestions will be offered, but creativity is encouraged.

All craft materials will be provided.

Registration is required and the event is free and wheelchair accessible. 

Kennebunk Free Library is located at 112 Main St., Kennebunk.
